Inaugural Address
African Ambassadors celebrated its Inauguration on October 12th, 2002. The founder and president received the keys to Hillsborough county while on-lookers both members and guests enjoyed the night's speakers and entertainment. Here are a few quotes from the event.

African Ambassadors is not about my son Dr. Chuma G. Osuji but his dedication and enduring desire to continue to remember and support members of our community that are disadvantaged-in the name of goodness.

2. Honorable- Retired United States Army General, Richard Griffitts

This has been a distinct and special privilege to witness the inauguration of African Ambassadors- under the foundation of a special man Dr. Chuma G. Osuji. Definitely this is a special organization and I wish him and the Organization success in all their endeavors.

3. Reverend Anthony Brinkley (Bible Based Church of God)

Dr. Osuji has a vision, which is not limited by what he sees or perceives. He has a heart of gold with strong faith in order to continue to support members of our community. He will always have my support.

I truly support African Ambassadors in all their good goals. Dr. Osuji is my colleague and a friend. He treats people with compassion- and this is the single and most important driving force behind his creation of African Ambassadors.

I am glad to have met Dr. Osuji, he is compassionate, kind and generous physician, and his creation of African Ambassadors simply gives me the distinct privilege to state that, he is not only a true African Ambassador but the dream of a few Africans and definitely the vision of our forefathers. Dr. Osuji is not only a family friend but also a man of distinct, impeccable compassionate and kind character who's humbling and dedicated services will continue to be of immense advantage to all members of our community. As the president of the Igbo Nigerian Woman Dancers Association, I have the pleasure to support Dr. Osuji's social and cultural activities- at all times. Also I intend to continue to support my husband Dr. Okpaleke in whatever means necessary to support his medical services to all members of our community.

As a physician, with some of my colleagues that know Dr. Osuji-we, at the beginning of the creation of African Ambassadors felt that he must be crazy trying to find time, energy and resources to build this organization; but very quickly, we realized that it also takes sensitive, charismatic and his infectious compassionate personality in order to achieve his present success with African Ambassadors.

11. Honorable Chief Shibola Ken (CEO and President of Kenaday Medical Group.)

Dr. Osuji is not only a dear friend, but one of my most trusted and dedicated physicians who have given so much of his time and energy in medical volunteer services at my medical centers. He will always have my support at any capacity. Please continue to support African Ambassadors. Like his father stated, it is not about Dr. Osuji but about the goodness in being here for other members of our community.
